Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some common questions about our company.
'JJ' is the initials of our two daughters - Jessica and Jennifer. 'Fire' represents the heat of chilis.
Yes 100%. All our products are hand made using only the freshest fruits and vegetables, with no oils, wheat/grains or any other product that contains gluten.
The only additive we use is xanthan gum, which is a natural product made through a fermentation process of sugar by the bacteria Xanthomonas campestris.
Our fermented sauces have a best before date of 12 months after production. This means that unopened bottles stored at room temperature should last at least 12 months. If stored in the fridge, the shelf life will be extended considerably - up to another 18 months. If the sauce smells and tastes fine, then you have nothing to worry about.
Unopened sauces can be stored at room temperature for around 1 year. However, once opened, they should be stored in the fridge and can last up to another 12-18 months if the cap is screwed tightly.
Absolutely! We have made several sauces upon request by customers. We can make small, medium or large batches to meet your needs, such as for personal use, wedding gifts, family gatherings or commercial application.

No, it doesn't. Your sauce might have a very small amount of separation, but this is nothing to worry about. Simply shake the bottle and use.
Not at the moment, but we plan to in the foreseeable future :)
